Professional Summary

I have lots of experience not recorded here on this resume. I have done payroll and reports, worked several cashiering jobs, built aircraft at McDonnell Douglas and data entry at a bank and much more.

I am reliable and trustworthy. I maintain a friendly attitude and look forward to being able to offer assistance to someone.

I spent years providing care, in one instance 24 hour care for my mother in law. My father, I worked for free for years helping him run his business as he was just shy of 95 at his passing.

My husband was a journeyman electrician and I was fortunate to spend time traveling with him. He unexpectedly died on second day of vacation in 2017. We had 35 years together. I filled the hours working for my father.

in 2019 I had a small fire in my garage and was out of my home for more than a year. I'm finally back in my home and I am anxious to return to the workforce and be earning an income and fill the hours as well as share my talents.

I really look forward to hearing from you as I believe i can be an asset to your company.

Work History
Customer Service Representative, 10/2010 - 12/2021
Walman Optical Company Fargo, ND,

I worked in the call center during holidays. I actually did this several times over the years with 2010 being last time . I was responsible to take phone orders as well as answer calls to customer service where I would listen to the customers situation and then handle that situation as best as I could following the company guidelines.

Customer Service calls are usually due to some error in a previously placed order. There are many callers who call agitated and I would have to defuse the situation and provide them what they asked as long as it was within the guideline afforded to me.

As a call taker you are required to reach different sales goals. I regularly met the goals set by the company. Not every call taker was a customer service representative , I was selected for customer service as I was exceeding the goals and able to control difficult callers. Being proficient in resolving situations is a huge asset. Keeping callers on the phone holding or in dead air is sure to raise their irritability.

All Around General Laborer and Sales, 09/2009 - 12/2020
Blu Dot Portland, OR,

White Hare was a chicken ranch with approximately 700 laying hens that I was responsible for their care which included feeding, cleaning chicken houses, gathering eggs, washing eggs and boxing for sale. Also repair and or replacement of fences. Maintaining the property in general to include weed eating, clearing dead tree's and brush.

Delivery and stocking of two separate stores as well as preparing and conducting the booth at the saturday Growers Market. We were famous for our eggs. We easily sold over 200 dozen a week.

It was a huge responsibility that required 6 days a week, using a multitude of hand tools as well as power tools and machinery. Maintaining the State of Oregon Agriculture guidelines. We were inspected and passed state inspections regularly. We maintained a very high standard of health and safety standards.

Photographer, 08/2005 - 08/2006
Lodge Management Group Chicago, IL,

The first thing I want you to know is how important it is to do a good job and take the best picture of every child you can. Should there be a horrible situation where a child is lost or has died it is almost always the school picture that they air and or publicize and sometimes the only picture they may have and we do not a picture where the childs eyes are closed or out of focus or any unfavorable effect in the photo. We never forgot that. Every picture mattered.

I was responsible for taking school pictures. The job required travel and some over nights. We loaded and hauled all our equipment which consisted of camera's, screens, lighting and multiple boxes of cables. We had our school assignment paperwork and film that we were responsible for ensuring we had every childs correct name and whether they had purchased a package and collecting payments.

We would arrive at our scheduled school and then unload all our equipment and have it set up and ready to go as we also had to meet the schedule the school set up for us. There were many teachers who did not enjoy picture day and did not send their class on time and we faced and handled many time crunches of completing pictures of every class and child and faculty by end of the school day. After which we had to tear down all our equipment and load it back in our cars to return to the office and submit the film and paperwork. Many long days.

We were always to report to work as if one person was sick there was no replacement and being short handed at a school could result in not completing the job. There was a lot of organization , time management, and hundreds of personalities to work with.

We maintained strict guidelines while on school property.

My highlight was after shooting a smaller school alone i was informed by the photographer who was assigned to retake day that she only took one picture all day and it was of a student who was absent. No retakes.
