I studied and built my own computer from personally selected parts. I still continue to tinker and upgrade the platform as better technology emerges. The ability to locate a problem effectively is paramount to a successful build, as is being thorough in the build process. One mistake, such as forgetting to use an anti-static surface or bracelet could lead to damaged parts or bent CPU pins, proving fatal for the current build. BIOS and setting up the OS was done by me as well. It is a hobby that teaches many skills for a field I enjoy.
