First American was a very rewarding company to work for; I was able to build relationships with homeowners and genuinely show them the importance of both their business and their continued investment into us as a company. While at First American I was in 4 different departments due to my dedication to the job; i started out as a customer service representative, was then trained and moved into claims resolution / dispatch and then was moved into my permanent department in authorizations. In each department I was in charge of following different procedures and expectations to meet. I grew as an employee and professional very fast and

• Customer service- answered calls from our homeowners to create claims for appliances, pool equipment, electrical etc to be looked at by an experienced contractor
• Claims resolution/ dispatch- I would receive escalated calls from customer service, as well ashave to manually dispatch emergency service, collect service fees as well as be the mediator between our members, contractors and different departments to get claims resolved or at least closer to resolution
• Authorizations- same duties expect would talk to contractors more then homeowners and take their finding reports, was mindful of contracts they had with us in terms on how they were paid for each job as well as authorized completion of work and paid them accordingly. had to use math to make sure they were being paid correctly or repay them if they had encountered an error by another rep or additional services was needed.
