HEAD CASHIER ➢ Handles all types of customer transactions; receives payment and/or obtains credit card authorization and is responsible for ensuring accuracy of such processes. ➢ Acts on behalf of Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager in the absence of either or both of these individuals; assists with opening and closing the store. ➢ Greets customers in a friendly, professional manner and provides quick, responsive customer service. ➢ Reviews point of sale transactions for compliance with company policies and procedures; reconciles cash with sales records daily; performs general record keeping and accounting duties; performs computer data entry as required. ➢ Provides training for new cashiers on policies and procedures related to point of sale computer system. ➢ Oversees the checkout stations and the effective operation of the front of the store: regularly monitors checkout stations to ensure adequate cash available; ensures that checkout areas are properly maintained in clean and orderly condition; approves transactions that require multiple reviews. ➢ Creates and maintains merchandise displays to ensure that they meet company standards. ➢ Assisted teacher with classroom activities. ➢ Prepared activity handouts for students ➢ Interacted frequently and respectfully with children during activities and routines. ➢ Followed all safety and health rules while supervising all children at all times. ➢ Demonstrated awareness of the entire group whether working with a small group or individual children.
