In this part of my education I attended a trade school for my junior and senior years of high school. We focused on the care of small animals, grooming, socializing, and identifying disease or illness in them. Along with those skills we also learned animal husbandry, how to identify different types of behavior as well as reading body language of the animals. I was responsible for cleaning cages, grooming dogs, socializing the animals and keeping an eye on their health while reporting back to my supervisor with any concerns about the animals health.
