Coach and train new and existing visual team members within the market, as directed.
Assist with ensuring store display layout plan and design execution, including furniture, sets, signing, accent lighting, fixtures, etc., comply with Company standards and present an inviting showroom floor.
Assist with overseeing and auditing product and accessory selection, merchandise receipt, inventorying, accurate point of purchase materials and price tagging as well as showroom placement.
Execute visually appealing and well-balanced store merchandising displays under the direction of Visual leadership; coordinate layout plans for furniture, lighting and accessories and transition seasonal products.
Remerchandise displays, signage, point-of-sale and select areas regularly to maximize product sell-through. Execute floor moves or any other necessary changes consistent with the layout plan and product focus; communicate regularly with Visual management on items that have sold.
Complete the store recovery processes throughout the day. Maintain store interior and exterior appearance with the assistance of the warehouse and housekeeping associates. Initiate repair and maintenance of store lighting, fixtures, paint, flooring, etc. in conjunction with store management.
Check in and unpackage accessory merchandise and other product shipments in collaboration with the warehouse associate; coordinate product tagging, felt-dotting and showroom placement; participate in the bi-annual inventory process.
Adhere to all visual merchandising standards and bulletins provided by Visual leadership. Ensure audio/visual items such as store music, sign height, etc., is in compliance with the standards; communicate standards to store associates and involve associates in the visual maintenance of the store
Conduct daily row cycles to maintain warehouse inventory by reconciling items that are in error.
Assist in receiving shipments straight to cross docked transfers.
Keep manual inventory of chairs warehouse.
Walk doors to validate inventory to match drivers manifest, validate transfer picking accuracy, inbound support, service
Assist sales, customer service, and deliveries team with questions, locking and unlocking of orders/transfers, re-committing items on sales orders/transfers.
Research inventory discrepancies for dock and transfers items left behind.
Reassign pickers to replace the missing or damaged items.
Perform research on inventory issues and coordinate to devise a resolution.
Send emails regarding missing items, damaged items or items not going out on driver’s route, or any issues / exception within the load out process to necessary department heads.
Communicate with stores regarding items not in location (NIL).
Conducts dock checking, for received and transferred product.
Able to operate radio frequency equipment.
Conducts operations in compliance with OSHA standards and in a manner that promotes safety.
