Interpersonal skills are an essential component in a workplace environment. It can make a massive impact on how you are approached by coworkers and customers alike. I pride myself on maintaining positive professional relationships both on the job and as a representative for the company. Even the most minuscule actions can have a positive influence. For instance, I remember recurring customers to my best ability to ensure a closer more familiar feel as they enter the store. This mentality can be applied to not only retail, but life in general. This will allow me to represent the foundation beautifully and connect to fellow scholars.

Proactive problem solving is another crucially essential skill for the fast-paced world of today. Tasks and conflict resolution must be carried out as swiftly and as carefully as possible ensure a positive experience for all. At my job I have implemented a list system to enable staff to use their time more efficiently and to guarantee work areas are well stocked and clean. Proficient problem solving is vital for notg only the work place, but in an academic setting as well.

Creative thinking is of high importance when actively participating in a classroom setting. You must keep students engaged and eager to learn and grow. In a world where children are persistently distracted by the newest technology, you must constantly compete for their attention. Lessons must be taught in a manner that continuously captures their attention and encourages them to take part in-class activities. As an assistant art teacher who instructed incoming kindergarteners through outgoing fifth graders this task is vital. To gain the students’ attention I would turn monotonous tasks into captivating activities for the students to take part in. For example, I created games so the students would remain orderly during wait time and as we transitioned room to room. By using creative thinking I have created a strong bond with my students and eliminated behavioral issues.
