Set-up ePCWorks QURR for monitoring Construction progress (received LeadeR+ award from PCS). Maintained and produced quality Cost and Commitment report as part of the Monthly Progress Report for both EATL PMA and ESA projects. Recommended, initiated and completed an automation process of the Trend Register in eCR (received LeadeR+ award from Trend Program Manager). Implemented the ESA rebaseline in ePCWorks (received LeadeR+ award from PCM). Completed all PC-tier I Certification Bechtel University Courses. Played an important role in project's KPI by providing input to Monthly Progress report particularly Cost and Commitment report including the analysis (range of outcome) that was delivered with high accuracy and 100% on time. Provided input in Lessons Learned Database. Engaged in other work activities by managing weekly production of Construction Progress (QURR), provided miscellaneous support to the Trend Team by customizing reports that is not readily available in the current BSAP, collaborated with the Trend Team by developing an Access database tool presented to the client and at the same time can be used as input for Historical Cost Database. Have written more than 10 desktop instructions for the use of EATL PC personnel using PC Tools.
Also, interfacing with other members of the project team, customers and other personnel was regularly done by:
On Apr 15 2012, Bechtel BSAPs were all stop for use, Bechtel's contract was terminated, few Bechtel employees were seconded to IOC and so to continue the process of managing Construction Progress, I built a Quantity Unit Rate database that resembles the ePCWorks Construction Module to be able to report to the client management the overall construction progress status. Conducted bi-weekly site walks with the Construction Manager and verified scope of work done, took photos and prepared bi-weekly Construction Progress reports. Attended weekly Contractor's meeting and took charge of the Project Controls portion, pointed out QURR issues and provided analysis based on the Performance Factors. Continued to produce various reporting needs such as Incurred Cost, PF Curves, QURR, Construction Dashboard and Safety Contractor Hours.
Managed weekly Construction Progress Module for the project following Bechtel processes and procedures. Responsible for loading data into the ePCWorks system used for QURR, validated cost codes for data integrity and performed data analysis based from the reports. Cost coded Field Service Requisitions, invoices, BPS and CADS. Loaded commitments and payments in ePCWorks. Maintained monthly quantity commodity metrics and monthly compilation of contractor hours. Regularly liaised with the Field Engineers / Site Superintendents for quantity tracking by doing site walks. Utilized database skills by developing and maintaining IOC QURR database and customized reports based on project needs. Closely monitored contracts by maintaining Estimate at Completion and identified trends and cost impact. Preparation of trend cost details and uploading trends in ePCWorks. Provided non-routine technical skills and support for project personnel as requested. Assumed responsibility of ePCWorks coordinator. Provided monthly input on the Construction progress as part of xPPS (Executive Project Performance Summary). Extended help in Engineering by assisting the Teamworks coordinator with database issues and automating processes and developed reports that made the Teamworks software operational for the IOC project. Participated in Bechtel's Global PC World Apps (2011) by sharing the database applications I developed that have been utilized on previous & present
Maintained code of accounts in ePCWorks (cost control tool in Bechtel) system, managing weekly construction progress module, cost and commitment module, and provided computer training on using ePCWorks, provided cost estimating, cost control and cost analysis, tracked and controlled the financial progress for the project following Bechtel processes and procedures. Responsible for the analysis and preparation of reports and plans including cost performance reports, backcharge reports, cost allocation reports and corrections, all in accordance with Bechtel processes and standards. Responsible for loading data into the ePCWorks system used for Quantity Unit Rate Reporting, validating cost codes for data integrity and performing data analysis based from the reports. Regularly liaised with the Field Engineers / Site Superintendents for quantity tracking by doing site walks. Evaluated and applied unit rates to quantities for total cost estimates. Established and implemented cost accounts for recording, analysis and reporting data. Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Project Controls Camp Management Database & creation of customized reports. Responsible for development and maintainance of the Project Controls Backcharge Database & creation of customized reports. Responsible for development of Manhour Database linked to e-Track utilized for QURR meetings. Responsible for generating the monthly payroll cost allocation report. Developed an R&R database utilized by HR and the Accounting department.
Established project requirements and provided the impact analysis from functional / project controls perspective. Established the test plan and test schedule with the Lead Cost Engineer. Reviewed the test plan and results to ensure BSAPs (Standard Bechtel Application Program) meet the project requirements and functional specifications. Reviewed and audited BSAP documents to ensure that they met and conformed to the project standards. Identified, analyzed, and provided innovative solutions to cost engineering problems. Provided general non-routine cost engineering guidance to the project and ensure work is completed as scheduled. Implemented and maintained:
