I am a certified copier/fax repair technician. I am cross-trained on multiple copier models. I am committed to providing excellent service in the client's printing and office sites. My duties include but are not limited to copier/fax installation, some machine relocations, Key Operator training, network installation, trouble-shooting, preventative maintenance and repairs.
I have worked in copier repair since 1976 and have have been trained and certified as a copier and fax technician for nine years with Canon USA (formerly OCE, formerly Imagistics).
I have been successful with my troubleshooting techniques and providing quality installation and repair services for the customers. This includes timely and professional response to the client's service request, communicating with the client about my ETA, services performed, parts replaced and of any subsequent repairs and needed parts.

I am continuing computer based training on the 700/800 Wide Format and on IRCADV 9000/7000 color copiers.
I am currently trained and certified on the following Canon equipment:
Canon IR3245 and IR3235 black white copiers.
Canon IRCADV 4000/4200, 6000/6200, 8000/8200 black white copiers.
Canon IRCADV 5000/5200 color copiers.

Toshiba IM2330 and 2830, 3530, 5530, and 6030 and 7530 black/white copiers.

Am responsible for performing all service repair work in a professional, organized and timely manner.
I am responsible for copier and fax machine installations and removals.
I am responsible for the installation of Content Delivery System on each IRADV copier for all system updates.
I test the equipment to identify any performance issues and clean, adjust or repair as needed.
I set up follow-up calls for time and/or parts as needed and request technical or specialist assistance as needed.
I reassembled equipment after repairs are completed.
I routinely perform preventative maintenance for possible future issues and facilitate any needed repairs and report this to the client.
I assist other technicians as needed with copier performance issues or as needed depending on their call loads.
I maintain my parts inventory quarterly.
Tested main copier unit and peripherals to identify the performance issue(s).
Removed defective sub-unit(s)s from the equipment to determine the service issues and made all necessary repairs.
I reassembled equipment after completion and tested main copier unit and peripherals for proper function.
I ensured the client had the proper amount of copier supplies on hand.
I installed wiring and electronic components on the copiers as needed to perform firmware updates, or add features such as stapling, faxing, hole-punch.
Maintained car parts inventory annually.
Performed basic key-operator training on install if needed.
Tested machinery, equipment and parts to identify any defects in performance and for copy quality.
Coordinated all copier repairs with the vendor.
Maintained all copier supply inventory for 175 machines in eight buildings.
Conducted all preliminary Key Operator training.
Coordinated all copier installs, removals and relocations with the vendor and with Office Services.
Was certified by Xerox in 1984 on their new 1075 model.
Streamlined the meter reading process from five or six days to three days using Paradox data base.
Maintained Tenneco's copier supply inventory for the convenience copiers as well as for the Reprographics and Photocopy departments.
