CMM OperatorMar 2013 to May 2015 Stone Plastics and Manufacturing － Zeeland, MI
Initially, I was hired in as a part runner / trainee.
After time, I moved up to completing
handchecks and annuals as they filtered in.
The annuals involved use of gage pins, hand
calipers, radius gages, and the optical comparator for the most part.
Finally, near the end of
my employment I began to evaluate and refine the programs that I was running, once I had a
more solid understanding of PC-DMIS and GD&T.
CMM ProgrammerJan 2017 to Current Arbor Gage and Tooling － Grand Rapids, MI
Arbor Gage and Tooling ensures that each fixture that they send to third party is perfect before arrival. I helped to certify each fixture with a preliminary and final check.
This entailed measuring the datums, stabs, form, and trim of each fixture. Once data was collected, it was sent to a builder for changes and a check at a later date.
CMM OperatorJun 2015 to Jan 2017 Dynamic Metrology Services － Holland, MI
When I came on board at Dynamic, it was understood that I was an amateur programmer looking to advance my knowledge and skill set.
During my time of employment, I learned how to
operate both a Zeiss and an RS-150, expanded my knowledge of scanning, completed layouts
single handedly, and interacted with the project engineers in charge of the jobs that we had received.
CMM OperatorOct 2014 to Mar 2015 River City Metrology － Grand Rapids, MI
