CHEIF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER AND PARTNERREVA HOTELS GROUP (CANDLEWOOD SUITES) － SUMTER, SCI managed all aspects of the development process for the new construction Candlewood Suites project. This included all phases of the development project including acquisition, financing, zoning/entitlements, design, permitting, construction, leasing, and disposition. I coordinated hotel efforts related to hotel acquisitions, dispositions, and other transactions. My principal responsibilities included assisting in preparing the financial and market feasibility analysis of the project. I prepared and monitored budgets, including preparation of monthly loan draw packages and lender and/or investor reports. I was involved in obtaining project entitlements and permits, including meetings with local jurisdictions to negotiate outstanding issues. Another important task was interfacing with hotel brand companies, managers, etc. including the negotiation of key business terms and related franchise agreements. I supervised the RFP and contracting process for architects, engineers, contractors, and other project consultants. My responsibility included identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies.

Operations management included human resources, housekeeping, security, public relations, food service, sales and finances. I also supervised the sales manager and revenue manager to make sure hotel revenue targets were met consistently.
