CHIEF COMPLIANCE AND ETHICS OFFICER
Professional Profile
Bridget Waldron serves as Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer in the Division of Person Centered Services at YAI. In this role, she is responsible for leading the internal processes for promoting and ensuring YAI's compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures, including chairing its Staff Compliance Committee which oversees its compliance risk management and internal complaint reporting programs.  She is also responsible for formulating and implementing YAI's policies and procedures, including its Code of Conduct, and making sure they are communicated and trained upon across the organization. 
Bridget joined YAI in 1981 as a Direct Support Professional in Residential Services. She held the positions of Assistant Supervisor, Compliance Specialist, Quality Assurance Administrator, Senior Vice President of Quality Enhancement and Senior Vice President Compliance, Quality Enhancement and Compliance Officer before becoming Chief Compliance and Ethics Offices in 2016.
She serves as the Chair of the NYSACRA Quality Committee and is a long tenured member of OPWDD's Statewide Committee on Incident Review. Bridget received a B.A. in psychology from Hunter College, and her Masters in Social Work from Hunter School of Social Work. .

  • Responsible for oversight and management of the organization's Compliance Program and Quality Resource team.
