I started off as a customer service assistant. Bagging groceries, doing carry outs, maintaining a clean parking lot. Moved up to cashier. Giving each and every customer a great shopping experience. Fast and friendly at the checkout. Last time to make a lasting impression to the customer. Applied at the business center, working with western union and taking customers payments. Moved to Bookkeeping. Counting and settling tills for all departments in the store. Printing out sales reports on a daily basis. Applied for School of Retail Management program (SORM) I got accepted and did a 16 week course of intensive training to become an Assistant Department Manager. After a year of being a Central Checkout Manager I got offered the position of Central Checkout Operations Manager. I was running the front end department. From doing interviews to hiring. I was doing daily projections and sales per man hour. I had to do the employees evaluations according to their job performance. Planning customer events to increment sales with our store mascot HEBuddy. Attending Monday Sales meetings to discuss our opportunities on sales. Being on the sales floor to make sure the front end running smoothly. I was also given the opportunity to run the store and work as Manager In Charge.
Attended LCC and started taking basics.
