Accomplishments

As a Campus Safety Supervisor, I contributed to the success of my direct reports and have demonstrated effective leadership qualities (Honesty, Ability to delegate, Communication, Self-knowledge, appreciation, Influence, compassion, Courage, Respect). I support my direct reports with resourceful and helpful direction, delegation, positive feedback, mentoring, and recognition. I support my direct reports in their goals and growth areas by coaching them to understand their roles by reviewing the Campus Safety’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with them, directing them to the college Path Finder for a better understanding of the school’s policies and procedures and to develop their skills by encouraging and supporting them to continued development or growth through supplemental training programs such as, FEMA courses related to the position, attend a few Colorado College’s conferences, In the Loop, Colorado College workshops, Excel at CC programs and the Employee Assistance Program. I also held one on one meetings with them once a week we talked about (tools and resources and talked about jobs stress or workloads). By doing these things this helps them to transition into their roles that will prepare them to succeed. it's more likely that they'll perform their jobs with accuracy. I stick to performance management; monitoring, reviewing and planning, administrative policies, and as well as make sound decisions, support and maintain teamwork, involvement, respect, and creativity.
