Responsibilities include cooking, preparing, serving, and maintaining fresh quality food for customers at the Golub Corporation main distribution center. Other responsibilities include cashier work, customer service, answering questions, and meeting customer needs. I am also responsible for maintaining a clean working and serving environment including deep cleaning such as cleaning hood vents as well as the entire hood vent on a regular basis moving equipment, scrubbing walls, wheels, racks, floors, etc.. Weekly changing of fryer oil, de-liming of steam tables and dishwashers and nightly cleaning and closing of the flat top grill.
Assisting with all aspects of events that regularly happen whether it's a meeting that needs coffee and donuts or larger events like providing food for Melodies of Christmas or Fourth of July at the Plaza in Albany every year. I am proud to have assisted with the annual turkey carvings on news stations with Neil Golub for several years. I am also proud I scored top of my class for the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals and am a Certified Food Safety Manager.
