I currently work at Bath and Body Works in the St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida. I attend college at St. Johns River State College, in pursuit of my Associate in Arts degree. I am highly motivated in my job to make sure customers are happy and that they keep coming back to my store, and to help answer any questions customers might have as well as solve any problem that may come to light. I am a fast learner in all things, and do my best to excel in whatever the job may throw at me. My job isn't always easy but I do whatever it takes in order to make sure it is done right. I have great time management, am efficient in all things, and work extremely well with others.
My job at Panera entailed a great deal of customer service and multitasking. After only six months of employment with Panera, I advanced to the position of associate trainer. My responsibilities included: training new employees by helping them to learn the basics of the store, conducting assessments of new employee understanding and performance , as well as being lead trainer. While at Panera, teamwork was the biggest priority in order to keep the store running smoothly, especially communication. If anything my experience there taught me to learn to speak up and communicate with my co-workers in order to get the job done and efficiently.
I started working at Starbucks the beginning of August of 2018. Although I had only been there for a short time, Starbucks taught me a lot in the ways of pleasing the customer, coming up with a solution to any problem that may arise, and by connecting with the customers by remembering personal preferences and allergy information to ensure they keep coming back. I have familiarized myself with taking multitasking to a whole other level by maintaining and operating espresso machines, blenders, commercial coffee brewers, coffee pots and other equipment, while taking customers orders and keeping them happy.
I started at Publix in April of this year. Although I had only been there for a short time, I picked up a lot of skills within the first few days of my training. From previous experience, I already knew how to operate a cash register and how to effectively deal with an unsatisfied customer. I've also learned from my previous jobs how to make a customer happy and make sure they keep coming back. Some of my other duties included:
Publix helped to teach me the value of the customer as well as exceptional customer service, which paved the way for me getting employed at Bath and Body Works.
I came to Bath and Body Works in October of 2019. What started as a regular seasonal position, grew into a full-time position. In February of 2020, I was promoted from seasonal sales associate to keyholder, a position of management for Bath and Body Works. Some of my duties included:
Although the role of keyholder was a great fit for me, I had to step down from my role as keyholder due to moving up to Jacksonville, and the commute being too long. I currently work at the St. Johns Town Center as a part-time associate, and am looking to grow and go beyond Bath and Body Works.
