I started working for the Home Depot in 2012. Home Depot has allowed me to work and create a stable fur filling career. During my career I started off working in the decor department. I was so excited to learn new skills, I took a interest learning to sell flooring. I became the number one specialist.
I relocated to the Paterson NJ, transfer to the Paterson store. Although I moved,took my values with me. Then was asked to take the position as an Customer order Specialist. I was thrilled and took the position seriously. In 2016 I was looking for more career advancement, I started to interview with companies that has contracts with the Home Depot. I interviewed with American Carpet South. This was one of Home Depot's top performing installation companies. I was offered a Expeditor position and in less then sixty days was offered the administration position working side by side with the CEO.
Then Relocated to Georgia to be near my family. I contacted my mentor Eric Meage, he supported my relocation and provided me with my store manager contact number. I've been in Georgia for almost 1 1/2 years. I've been promoted and giving the opportunity to be a specialty supervisor, front End Supervisor(40 employees) and Associate Support supervisor (230 employees). Each position I have went above and beyond the call of duty to assist the management team & employees. My goal is to become a HR manager and continue to make a impact in the Home Depot culture.
