As an adept Senior Property Manager, my career began in 2002. I have a well-rounded background in Property Management and refined talents as it relates to Public Housing, Tax Credit, Section 8, Low-Income and Tenant Relations. I am a proven expert in communications and a consistent leader.
My previous roles have strengthened my abilities in Leadership and Customer Service, as well as my focused attention to detail and high accuracy.
I also bring with me the SMART Approach. Specific Set specific goals because they have a much greater chance of being accomplished than general goals. To make a goal specific, it must convey exactly what is expected, why it's important, who's involved, when & where it's going to happen in order of importance and priority.
Measurable Establish concrete criteria for measuring progress toward attaining each goal you set. Measuring your progress helps the team stay on track, reach their target date(s), and experience the exhilaration of achievement that will help spur them on to reach their ultimate goal. Attainable Do not set a goal that is too extreme, instead set an attainable goal that will challenge the team, otherwise it may be considered meaningless.
Realistic To be realistic, a goal must represent objectives towards which you and your team are willing and able to work. When setting a realistic goal, you must be sure that the timing is right. Timely/Time-bound A goal should be grounded within a certain time frame.
A commitment to a deadline helps a team focus their efforts on completion of the goal on or before the due date. Time-bound goals are intended to establish a sense of urgency. This will allow the team to properly schedule their time more effectively. Using S.M.A.R.T. Goals will not only assist you in setting goals but will create a well thought out plan on how to get things done.
