Coordinated and led bi-weekly telephone conferences to provide stakeholders with Aegis Ashore status updates, including equipment issues with recommended courses of action, required equipment upgrades, and course and/or maintenance schedule changes.
BUSINESS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT. Scheduled, tracked, and conducted classroom and laboratory evaluations for 18 Aegis Ashore instructors and provided detailed debriefs resulting in 100% improvement on student critiques.

Coordinated and oversaw miscellaneous services, including carpet cleaning, Xerox printer maintenance, HVAC troubleshooting/maintenance, janitorial services, and building maintenance covering 50 spaces across 3 buildings.

Communicated with higher headquarters via email, telephone conferences, and face to face meetings to discuss the transfer of three Ships Self Defense System courses to the command resulting in the command becoming the Ships Self Defense Systems Center of Excellence for the Navy.

DIRECT A LARGE WORKFORCE. Managed the daily execution of 4 junior officers, 6 senior enlisted, and 60 junior enlisted personnel in seamanship, electronic warfare, and command and control areas of responsibility.
SUPERVISE A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS: Managed the ships short and long range schedule and coordinated all services for the ship to include large gun firings, sonar activations, rotary/fixed wing aircraft services, active radar transmissions, and link operations. Provided oversight of 4 division's Material Maintenance Management program, manpower requirements, awards submissions, maintenance and non-maintenance expenditures, Casualty Reports, and professional qualifications status. Major contributor to the planning, coordination, and execution of 2 successful live missile firings.
MENTOR AND COACH. Provided daily guidance and mentorship to new officers on how to obtain professional qualifications onboard ship while simultaneously running a division.
KNOWLEDGE OF RULES, REGULATIONS, POLICIES, AND PROCEDURES. Utilized Air Defense expertise to develop, brief, and disseminate Air Defense guidance to 6 U.S. Navy ships within the Carrier Strike Group. Created, briefed, implemented, and tracked short and long range training plans for 23 Air Intercept Controllers and 4 Tactical Helicopter Controllers onboard ensuring all air controllers maintained proficiency and qualifications.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES. Developed and executed Naval Surface Fire Support training plan for shipboard team to ensure strict adherence to established procedures resulting in one of the highest scores in Carrier Strike Group Twelve!
COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY AND EFFICIENTLY. Provided Air Defense expertise as a liaison between Air Defense ship and Carrier Strike Group Twelve staff. Received verbal praise for providing a thorough brief of the Air Defense plan in place of Commanding Officer at the Warfare Commanders Conference to a group of 90 people including 4 GS-15's, 25 navy ship and aircraft squadron Commanding Officers, and Carrier Strike Group Twelve Admiral.

Led the Ballistic Missile Defense team in shipboard Ballistic Missile Defense training, briefing, assessing, and debriefing ships combat watch personnel during Ballistic Missile Defense Exercise certification event.
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT: Developed, maintained, and delivered 2.5 day Maritime Ballistic Missile Defense course of instruction to Ballistic Missile Defense ships Combat Information Center watchstanders. Maintained the Ballistic Missile Defense Exercise schedule for 8 East coast ships.
MENTOR AND TRAINER. Mentored and trained 15 Navy ship's Tactical Action Officer on each Combat Information Center's watch station's execution during a Ballistic Missile Defense Exercise in accordance with higher headquarters and Fleet Commander's guidance, policies, instructions and procedures.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES. Conducted assessments utilizing approved performance measures and provided feedback to assist military and civilian peers on their professional development as an instructor and assessor.

Briefed ship's Commanding Officer on the conduct of the Ballistic Missile Defense Exercise certification event and debriefed the results as well as answered all questions.
