I started out as a personnel coordinator with Danos responsible for keeping up with rosters, doing paychange requests, termination requests, orientations, truck moving, etc. Just whatever was needed in the office and in the field.
After a year I was promoted to Account Manager and started with 2 customers and 4 employees and have since grown my accounts to 22 customers and 60 employees. I am responsible for taking care of the customer as well as our field employees.
I also help with recruiting, hiring, interviewing, process of employment, and new hire orientation. I attend daily production meetings at the customer offices, monthly safety meetings as well as do field audits. I check in on a daily with customers to see if they have any needs or issues. If they need positions filled I will find and screen canddiates along with our recruiting department.
After finding quality candidates I will send to the hiring team lead to review and makes decisions on of they want to interview and then would set up interviews and sit in on interviews as well. Once decision is made I contacted the candidate negotiated pay and schedule once that was agreed upon the hiring process was done and a job offer was sent out.
From there I would continue to follow along and keep informed of the candidates process and once done coordinate the PPE, truck, tools, phone for the employee and make sure he reports to the appropriate office and field for duty.
