Optimization of Naturally Aspirated and Downsized Turbocharged PFI SI-Engine for Knocking Characteristics" The model was based on MATLAB Simulink and it simulates single cylinder combustion of PFI SI-engine.
Change in knocking tendency and MBT (Minimum Advance for Best Torque) timings were determined by varying the engine parameters such as spark timing, EGR rate and Compression Ratio for both Naturally Aspirated and Downsized Turbocharged engines.
The extracted data were compared and parameters for the best engine performance was determined.
Active Automotive Safety Systems: (July'15) Simulation of Airbag deployment using LS Dyna" Designing of an airbag first in LS Dyna, then using the basic keyword "AIRBAG_SIMPLE_AIRBAG_MODEL", also understanding the kind of material used and the keyword for the same.
Then using Pre Solver and Post solver for Simulation of the said airbag.
Analyzing the simulated results, understanding the major constraints and challenges in real environment.
How the deployment time could be reduced and what effects it.

Automotive Assembly Systems (April'16) This project focused on applying DFA principles to the "Driver Seat" assembly line for designing an optimum and efficient assembly line.
By exploring the current production methodologies and collecting data from the existing system we evaluated the efficiency of the assembly line.
Furthermore, it is observed that there is scope of improvement for assembly time of Driver Seat, which can be achieved by applying Design of Assembly principles.
The project implements the Boothroyd Dewhurst principles of assembly, Kilbridge and Wester Method of Line Balancing to obtain optimum time and cost.
