Resumes are about experience, and this is not necessarily limited to employment. As a first-time jobseeker, you should showcase the skills and abilities you have that you have developed outside of the workforce. Have you excelled in school or received any special awards? If so, a resume detailing these accomplishments will be an asset to you in your job search.
You can still tailor your resume to be appealing to hiring managers. Consider the skills requested in the job listing, and detail how you have developed those skills in your other endeavors. If you still do not know where to start, consult first-time resume examples for more information on how to present yourself professionally.
