Dear Dr. Snowden,
I read with great interest your ad for a Diagnostic Radiographer at the Hobart Medical Center and am submitting my resume for your review and consideration. As a key member of the health care team I take the responsibility of producing high quality images very seriously understanding that treatment is often decided based on the images produced.
In my current position as a Diagnostic Radiographer at Northcoast Imaging I specialize in MRI technology but am experienced in sonography and chest and spine x-rays as well and am able to fill in when needed in those positions. One of my strongest and most valuable soft skills is my ability to empathize with patients who are frightened sometimes for their very lives. I do what I can to demonstrate genuine interest in their welfare and explain what to expect during the procedure.
I have experience working in a hospital setting dealing with accident victims and patients requiring emergency care and have proven my ability to work well with the ER team of physicians and nurses. My ability to remain calm for the sake of the patient is helpful in their positioning and preparation for each test.
I’m certain that after you review my resume you’ll want to schedule an interview and I look forward to your call. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Mallory Pineda
