Dear Mr. Schneider,
I am writing to respond to your advertisement for the babysitting job. I have been working as a babysitter now for two years and have several families for whom I regularly provide care. I have current CPR and First Aid certifications and will graduate from high school next May.
I am really good at following parents’s instructions and following through with bedtimes, making meals and helping kids with homework. At school, I participate in the peer tutoring program and am an honor roll student. I love babysitting and enjoy talking and playing games while I babysit kids.
I have babysitting experience with children from infants to 12 years old. I never have friends over while babysitting as I understand that is a violation and not okay. I make certain the kids get along with each other and that they brush their teeth before bedtime. I usually try to write a short report for parents about the evening so they know how it went.
I know I am a good babysitter and I hope you pick me for the babysitting job. I would like to know when I can come over to meet you and your kids. Can you please call me?
Sincerely,
Jamya Patrick
