I am writing this letter to recommend Rachael Green for a promotion from retail associate to a position of management. I have worked for 5 years with Rachael in the clothing section of Walmart and have been her immediate supervisor for 3 years. Rachael is quick to respond to the needs of customers and take on additional projects. She is very customer-focused in her work. She routinely has assisted me in training new employees in protocols and customer service.

I have personally witnessed on several occasions when Rachael used her friendly and positive demeanor to assist customers who were frustrated with the service or lack of product that was in our store. Several customers have come up to me after speaking with her and spoken highly of her handling of difficult situations.

Because of her ability to train new employees, customer-focus, and interest in learning how to manage a department, I feel that Rachael would make a great manager of another department in the store. You won’t find many employees as dedicated and trust worthy as Rachael is.
