Activities and Honors

I am currently serving in the California State Guard where I train and serve in the State Military capacity. I’m subjected to being called for Emergency State Active Duty (ESAD) by the Governor. When called to emergency duty, my core competencies include operations, wildfire suppression support, and other civil support capabilities.

The CSG protects California and its citizens from natural and man-made disasters, including wildfires, floods, earthquakes, and pandemics. It was formed to provide California with a trained and organized force in the event of a state security or state emergency. The CSG service members train and prepare for these emergencies.
