Laid out, fitted and fabricated metal components.Heated, formed and dressed metal parts with hand tools, torch and arc welding equipment.Positioned and clamped workpieces together and properly assembled them in jigs and fixtures. Helped manufacture large orders of different sizes of steel guards for concrete water troughs. Efficiently completed work orders given by shop foreman to ensure delivery of a quality product in a timely manner. Good communication skills relaying information from customers to shop foreman or boss.
My boss entrusted me to fix one of our concrete water trough molds that our shop foreman was unable to repair. Within a few hours I had the problem solved and they were able to use it the next day.
I am eager to learn and reliable. I have received increasing responsibilities with each new chance I've been given. If I do not know how to fix something, I am not afraid to ask questions or research options. I know my limitations, but I am not afraid of a challenge.
I plan to make welding a lifelong career. I enjoy working with my hands. I love making something out of nothing and would appreciate the opportunity to further my skills and knowledge with your organization.
