Aquatech - Remote , PAUnder direction of the Chief Engineer I and following established methods and procedures, maintains the operation and preventive maintenance of a variety of equipment utilized in the treatment of the Water and Sewage Plant. Makes routine inspections of plant equipment and records on daily check list, read meters and gauges and records operating information necessary to document shift processes and to evaluate operating characteristics. Take daily required samples and make routine qualitative and quantitative chemical and biochemical analysis of water and wastewater by standardized and predetermined methods as prescribed in the book of standard methods. Make necessary mathematical computations, prepare standard reagents and chemical solutions, filter and weigh samples preparatory to analysis. Clean and assemble laboratory apparatus and glassware.Record test data and keep records pertaining to analysis as required by regulating agencies. Regulates and adjusts equipment including centrifugal pumps, valves and motors to conform to process requirements. Take and record daily meter reading of four (4) domestic wells, institution hot water usage, laundry soft water usage, Crc-MSF and East potable water meters, chlorine cylinder weight and usage, and potable water pressure. Take record readings of sewer flows of East Facility and brine discharge from MSF Laundry daily. Identify equipment malfunctions and advise Chief Engineer. Conducts minor chemical balance as needed. Monitor and maintain the stripper operation on well #1, test and record chlorination residual of well #1.

Coordinates and assists with the successful completion of preventative and corrective maintenance projects on all systems throughout the plant, troubleshoots problem areas utilizing appropriate resources. Inspects, tests and maintains equipment. Maintains chemical feed systems.
