This project is to extend the life of pipe culvert BY052X01 by minimizing erosion and excess debris upstream of culvert, which was recently rehabilitated. The project will include 1,750 LF of stream restoration, on an unnamed tributary of the Patapsco River, which will limit the risk of built up sediment.
  • The retrofitting of existing and constructing new MDTA stormwater management (SWM) facilities in Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, and Baltimore City. Located at Fort McHenry Tunnel Maintenance Facilities, and along the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel Thruway (I-895/I-895 Spur), Key Bridge (I-695) beltway, and the William Preston Lane Jr. Memorial (Bay) Bridge (US 50/301).
  • TMDL Enhancement of Pre-2000 Stormwater Management BMPS and Streamlined Stormwater Management Retrofits, located in Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, and Baltimore City, for the retrofitting of existing and constructing new MDTA stormwater management (SWM) facilities at the Fort McHenry Tunnel Maintenance Facilities, and along the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel Thruway (I-895/I-895 Spur), Key Bridge (I-695) beltway, and the William Preston Lane Jr. Memorial (Bay) Bridge (US 50/301)
  • $48.5 million bridge deck and superstructure replacement for the bridge carrying I-895 over the Patapsco River Flats, located between Exit 4 (MD 295) and Exit 6 (I-97 and MD 2 spur road). A full superstructure replacement with steel plate girders carrying a steel grid deck partially filled with all lightweight concrete with a density of 100 pcf.
