My current role as a team lead has given me the opportunity to work very closely in providing case managers with additional support and education in the transplant process. Explain our SOPS and work closely with our medical directors and supervisors. In the absence of the supervisors have taken on additional role and responsibility. I am interested in furthering my coaching and experience here with Cigna. I enjoy helping and have a very positive attitude while helping others. My goal is to help my peers excel at their role.

As a team lead:
- moderate/facilitate MD Interact calls and report to Supervisors on any issues or problems. Transplant TL also assists with Transplant Supervisory Rounds Process. Raises urgent/emergent or escalated issues to the covering Supervisor. This includes all issues involving account, CSP, Sales.
-Communicates to supervisor any concerns/issues that are observed or raised.
-Supports messages for the leadership team.
-Acts as a role model for team members. Used at team resource and continues to manage own case load in Cigna east and Careallies.
- Calls out on potential new case referrals and assess for case management needs. Possible referral to appropriate case management department.
-Reviews claims issues with case manager and benefits specialist.
-Reviews cases and provides direction for case presentation to medical directors
- Gather information and submit acuity/caseload information to the supervisor. This can be obtained through self-reported tools or actuate. The supervisor will interpret and provide oversight on caseload volumes and management of cases/referrals.
