While in high school, I was selected in the People to People Eisenhower Program, I was able to travel to Australia for 2 weeks in the summer of 2011 and earned a scholarship to a college in Washington State. I received a second invitation the following year but was unable to attend.

Also in the school year of 2012-2013 I received an invitation for a different program, (I do not remember the name of) to Washington D.C. for possible career opportunities in national security, military etc. I was also invited to visit the White House with a chance to meet President Obama as the time of the trip would land with him being re-inaugurated into office. However due to some family issues I was unable to attend.
