    Started out repairing Tractor and Dump Trailers for the first 3 year, after the shop Manager retired I was offered the job of shop forman incharge of keeping 60 trucks 80 trailers and equipment in top working condition, all had to work every day. I said I would only take the job if I could be a working Supervisor and it was agreed. So I worked beside all of my teammates we were like a big happy family.

    The trucks and equipment worked all day, so I made shift changes to save the company money, we had 2 mechanics in 1st shift to handle any minor tire and small issues, and 6 mechanics on 2nd shift to make major repairs such as brakes tires clutches engines transmissions rears and drive lines. all of the equipment worked through the day from 3am to 3pm and longer. Second shift worked from 3pm till all equipment was ready for work.

    • Inspected trucks and trailers before and after trips and completed basic maintenance for optimal performance.
    • Consulted blueprints and repair manuals to complete high-quality repairs and restore optimal functionality.
    • Evaluated and repaired small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices.
    • Recorded completed repairs, all further repairs required and parts to be ordered on service call ticket.
    • Managed day-to-day operations and maintenance of equipment in maintaince department.
    • Maintained performance by cleaning and lubricating components such as kingpins and drive lines.
    • Diagnosed and repaired mechanical issues, welding floors, inspections and skilled repairs such as clutches brakes fuel systems engine repairs transmission and drive line repairs.
