Was hired as a HHA/TMA in a memory care campus which all aspects of the residents life was dependant upon this role. Took great strides to ensure the best possible quality of life for the vulnerable clients which suffered from dementia. This included but not limited to all medication administration, meal prep and clean up, ADL assistance on all levels of care. I was given the opportunity to act as Staff coordinator/Mentor in which was a role that was more in a supervisory position. All responsibilities for the cottages were overseen by me, which included hiring and orientation of new staff, any concerns regarding resident care were also approached and resolved. Scheduling and conducting staff meetings to ensure consistency of the best practices and policies was planned and implemented within this role. Supervisory and leadership was one of the main functions in this position.
