Experienced forklift operator with over 5 years of proven experience. I am very outgoing and determined as well highly motivated and goal oriented. I have some management trainaing skills but I am always willing to learn new things and tackle new challenges. I believe in a team effort but can work independently and communicate clearly and effectively. I am time conscience and to to maximize every oppurtunity all while promoting social equality.
I go where I am needed and adept to any situation. With Memco Staffing I have done several different jobs that are out of the field that I prefer. The current assignment is an example of this, as I am responsible for performing a Covid check on the employees at the plant that I am assigned to.
The assignment that I had before that was repositioning industrial rain gutters on the side of a retire home. I dug hole in the earth, cut large diameter cvpc pipe, painted the draing boot, drilled into concrete, broke up concrete using a jackhammer, layed reber, poured and finished concrete, and became familiar with several other tools and applications that were foreign to me at the time.
The assignment I started of with was on the clean-up crew after the Texas A&M LSU football game where I was responsible for assisting in the breakdown storage and removal of outdoor equipment such as, high occupancy tents and stages, tables, chairs and industrial heaters.
As an experditor/floater my job was consistant and detail oriented. I was responsible for operarting an automated plasma cutter (Fanuc) to cut the ends off of failed or damaged pipe. I was also responsible for operating an automated coupling picker (Fanuc) that loaded the line to the buck on machine. I was responsible for operarting the buck on machine which consisted of two (2) parts. The first part was the prescrew. It was my duty to monitor the reading making sure that they were within spec for the product that was being run at the time. If the were out of spec I was to check and recheck all formulas and converse with the thread inspector and cnc operator to validate the readings. The second part of the machine was the screw where the coupling was torqued to spec. If the coupling was out of spec I painted the rejected end and logged the information explaing why it failed in a detailed loggeing book which was turned in at the end of every shift. I was responsible for operating a warehouse forklift where I dumped the metal shaving hopper, the crop off bin, the cardboard hopper, and the trash hopper. I was also responsible for placing coupling on the coupling table as well as restocking the end cap protectors. I unloaded any material trucks coming from the warehouse in a timely manner and observed and followed all safety rules and regulations while performing my duties on the forklift. I was responsible for the tallying, labelling, and debris removal of raw material coming into the prodction building. It was also a job to troubleshoot any technical issues that i incured first on my own and then with the help of an IT tech if needed. I logged in the information on a Ipad using the program set for it and also assisted in tracking material using a digital tracking map. I assisted on the pipe yard with inspection as well as inventory where a detailed report was filed at the end of every quarter. I made tirps to the warehouse to gather material and used the APEX networking system to track any and all materials that was removed from stock. I was also responsible for keeping ice and water in the coolers at each station during the summer months and gasoline in the jet heaters in the winter. I kept the work area clean and free of debris and clutter and followed all safety practices.
My duties consisted of identifying the ingredients that were to be used in the current product batch and weigh them in accordance to the ingredients chart. Pour the first set of ingredients into the dough mixer adn start the cycle. After the first cycle is completed pour in the second batch of ingredients and start the finishing cycle. Dump the dough into the dough bin making sure to cleans out the dough bowl using a bakers knife.Perform hourly checks on the temperature and weight and individual pieces of dough to ensure accuracy and prevent bad product. Oil the dough board to prevent the dough form sticking and causing ingredient waste, and make sure that there is enough coating to also aid in the reduction of stick dough. Make sure that the griddle is clean and free from debris and old dough pieces to prevent flare ups of imperfect product. Check all temperatures and guages to help ensure quality product. Inspect the finished product by again checking the temperature and weight for and deviations from the desired results. Use a forklift and pallet jack to restock the ingredient staging area to dump dough modules. Maintain a clean work area and keep the griddle pan free from debris to prevent fires. Sign and turning all paperwork at the end of the shift. Follow all written, posted, and verbal rules.
