Oncor is Texas's largest regulated electric delivery business and sixth largest in the U.S. It supplies electricity to approximately 3.5 million consumers. Oncor as a transmission and distribution company has number of environments and a number of core services. TIBCO application team provides support to all these environment and application hosted on them.
The activities involve all the aspects of a support project like incident management, change management, service request handling, application/data migration, environment setup and configuration management, user/application management (for each environment).
My responsibilities include:
Designing strategic solution, compatible with TIBCO as a middle ware platform
Integrating various business critical systems such as Customer
Information Systems (CIS), InService (Mobile Workforce Management
System) and Assets Management System (Maximo), OMS (Outage Management
System) and other Advanced Metering Infrastructure entities.
Performance analysis of integration modules integrated with various Oncor application portfolio.
Complete analysis for the business requirements, rough estimation efforts for the end to end project lifecycle.
Documenting and reviewing Interface Design Document (IDD) for the project assigned.
TIBCO application server environment build and migration wherever required.

ESB enhancements to support 3rd party Change: The existing ESB components were enhanced to support third party change.
Multiple AMS Meters per Premise: Upon the business requirements, we had detailed analysis to meet the requirement specified.
Migration of datacenter: I was involved in migrating Tibco application servers from one physical datacenter to another.
My role and responsibilities was to install, manage and deploy Tibco suits and application.
JMS vs HTTP transport Proof of concept (PoC): this sought to test a basic architecture proposal for the one of the ESB re-alignment that would support the performance improvement goal.
