  • Helped Microsoft improve Azure Stream Analytics and Azure App Service
  • Developed an analytic model that accurately suggests set parameters to reduce the energy consumption of rawmills and cement mills at Sabancı's Cement Factories
  • Modified the C# project so it could transfer the streaming sensor data from OPC servers to Microsoft Azure IoT Hub. Did the feature engineering calculations on the streaming data for the analytic models and updated these models in Microsoft Azure. Trained each model, transferred them to separate Azure services, and finally implemented the analytic models on the streaming data
  • Designed a service-oriented external tool, namely a Python program that automates fetching hourly weather data for any given Sabancı factory. Deployed the Python program as a web app to Microsoft Azure App Service

  • For a given product category, we automate querying the top reviews concerning the input product on Amazon, analyze the reviews and conduct sentiment analysis by using IBM Watson's Discovery, and finally construct a matrix that ranks desirable product features and most concerning flaws. By providing customers with the desirable product features to invest on, we aim to empower organizations to make crucial data-driven decisions and help them beat out their competitors in the market)
  • Final project in the top 1% and recipient of a citation for COSC-89.11 class. Project currently in progress is expected to be completed and ready to be launched in the course of the second half of 2020
