Team MemberChipotle Mexican Grill – Fairlawn, Ohio When working an opening shift, I was in charge of food prep for certain items on our menu. Once the restaurant opened for the day, I often was put in charge of the dining room. This meant keeping the drink station stocked and clean, as well as sweeping the floors, wiping the tables, putting away trays, emptying trash cans, and greeting guests to make sure their experience was as enjoyable as possible and without issues. Occasionally I would work the front line, where I would handle and create different menu items as the guests ordered them. I particularly enjoyed working this position, because it gave me a plethora of chances to work with people, something I am very fond of.

Team MemberArby's – Wadsworth, Ohio I am often found working the front line where I welcome and take orders from guests, handle payments, and operate the register. This position also entails keeping the drink station stocked and clean, sweeping the floors, collecting trays, wiping off tables, making sure guests' experiences exceed expectations and are without issues, emptying trash receptacles, and stocking toiletries in the restrooms. I have also worked the fry station. The fry person is responsible for keeping the stock of fried items fresh and at the appropriate level for the time of day. The last position I've been assigned is the back line, where the sandwich artist works. Here, the back line worker receives orders via two monitors. The sandwich artist is expected to prepare orders in an efficient, professional, cleanly, and timely manner. Regardless of what position I fill for the duration of a shift, I take it upon myself to reduce the level of unwashed dishes in the establishment to the best of my ability while still maintaining my other responsibilities.

Sales Floor Team MemberTarget – Wadsworth, Ohio My main responsibilities here depend on the time of day my shift occupies. If I work a closing shift, I am expected to help stock make its way from the back room to its appropriate location on the sales floor. Once that task is finished, I begin working on the one to two zones I am assigned out of the seven total zones. The rest of my night consists of zoning my areas (moving each item to the end of its shelf and shifting items around to make each isle as presentable and easy to navigate as possible), helping guests with any questions they may have, taking care of re-shop (moving all misplaced items to their appropriate locations in the store), and helping guests at the registers if requested. If my shift takes place earlier in the day, my responsibilities remain the same as those of a closing shift, save for zoning.
