Dedicated and reliable individual who excels at prioritizing, organizing, completing multiple tasks, and following through to achieve specific goals. Searching for a position with valuable experience and a higher responsibility level.
Begin each work day performing a cleanup of property grounds. I would then meet with the Service Manager to recieve duties for the day. Tasks consisted of demolishing old fixtures, vanitys, outlets, appliances, and other items inside units in order to prepare them for vendors. Renovation of apartments occured once vendors have completed their specific jobs. Installation of new plumbing, electrical, carpentry, doors, appliances, fixtures and additional parts are some of the responsibilities required. On-call rotations would be during afterhours each week for any emergencies. Urgent situations such as heating and water leaks would take highest priority, thus being resolved immediately.
I started each morning readying necessary equipment and supplies for a successful workday. During preparation hours I would examine job tickets ensuring all keys are accounted for, discuss with team members specific job details applied to particular homes as well as their addresses. Providing safe and reliable transportation for any given team was necessary to reach various destinations. Customer addresses are reached by logging the household's address into GPS in order to reach the respective location. Exchanging friendly dialogue and establishing a positive relationship with each client is essential to creating personal connection. The teams objective is to maintain cleanliness of living quarters by using a detailed rotation system. Confident in dividing tasks to effectively meet strict time goals, while providing excellent quality service catered to individual needs. Finalized paperwork by receiving payment from assigned clients and recorded information needed to close out the day.
Clock in for the night, attend a daily meeting with overnight managers and crew to discuss locations where stock is high and low through the store. Shift Managers will then assign work locations for the night to accommodate for the amount of goods being imported into the store. Grocery and General Merchandise sections are stocked for the next day by unboxing pallets, reading the labels on the merchandise to find appropriate location, and rotating older product forward to meet expiration dates. Any overstock that would not fit on the shelves, would be placed out on pallets for management to collect. Once tasks are completed, we arrange our shelves in order to make it look neat and presentable to the public. Upon completion of duties, we move to other locations that need additional help to meet time goals at the end of the shift.
Overnight Maintenance- Clock in for the night, attend a daily meeting with the overnight maintenance supervisor to discuss hot spots and where each crew member is assigned for the night. Starting each shift, team members do a sweep of the entire store and then move to their respective areas. Duties consist of operating a battery powered scrubbing machine to sanitize all the hard floors, properly contain any spills to ensure customer safety, as well as maintain cleanliness of the store front. Our team will go out to collect all carts in the parking lot and return them to the proper location. Once aisles have been scrubbed and sanitized, a motorized buffing machine would then be used to polish the tiled floors in each aisle. Throughout the night, those of us in the crew would gather the cardboard and plastic from the bale machine after compression, then haul it out to the back to be disposed of. Periodically I performed safety sweeps throughout the store, as well as cleaning and preparing equipment for the next day upon the end of the shift.
Each morning, we would all perform a cleanup of the apartment complex grounds by picking up trash throughout the property with pickers, thus disposing of any debris into the proper waste disposal. When that was completed, we would have a meeting to discuss the days objectives and divide up the team to efficiently carry them out. Such duties include turning a vacant apartment to prepare for the next potential resident, doing work orders assigned by timestamp from current residents, among other projects around the complex. Both work areas are comprised of maintaining the apartment with any repairs towards electrical devices, wiring, plumbing, carpentry, painting, wall repair and installation, as well as replacing carpet or wooden plank floors in specific apartments. Preventive measures were always taken to ensure quality satisfaction and prevent possible damage to property on either side. Communal areas, such as the laundry rooms and gym, were kept clean and organized for residents to take part in the extra services provided for them. Professional Technicians would occasionally be contacted to lend assistance when there was something that required further expertise to complete a task. Emergencies would include fires, water leaks, and residents being locked out of their apartments due to faulty locks, or misplacement of keys were consistently our main priority. On call assistance would be divided up through the team to balance fairness by working through a rotation system during the off hours which included weekends. At the end of the work day, all work orders and keys would be turned into the front office to management, inventory would be discussed with the supervisor for replenishing parts in storage, and ordering any specific parts needed for occurring work orders.
As a Combat Engineer my main responsibility was to serve and assist all team members, while tackling tough terrain in potential combat escalations. These duties include route clearance, operation of heavy equipment, securing the area with burrowed fighting positions, as well as identifying mines visually or by mine detectors. Specialized C4 explosive detonations were performed when a breach was required in order to accomplish goals, and provide security for further excursions. Daily participation in physical fitness was required each day to stay combat ready. Being deployed during the Operation Iraqi Freedom and participating in Operation New Dawn, I received commendation medals for my time serving amidst these conflicts. I had been assigned to properly maintain and operate a M2 50. Cal Machine Gun on routes and safeguard the weapon while at our operating base. Paired with a Special Task Group during the last few months of my tour, I executed many operations with a Secret Clearance with the U.S. Government. Although I wasn't able to finish my term, I was Honorably Discharged due to an incident that led to medical complications during my time overseas.
