If they didn't have symptoms I gave them a sticker and swapped their mask with a new one, once that's done they were then able to enter the building. If they did experience any other symptoms that were mentioned, I would have to take the patients name, date of birth, phone number, address down, Medical record number and turn it in to the front desk so they can get them all checked in. I would also transport patients with and without wheelchairs to their room. I was also responsible for making sure them rooms were all sanitized and ready for the next patient. I also worked with doctors and nurses. If any of them needed materials such as any IV equipment, any butterfly needles or syringes/test tubes for lab work, stethoscope, etc, I would take it to them. I would also take any specimens such as Covid test, flu test, strep test, urine test, any lab work, etc. Once taken to the lab I would write the Medical Record number, first name last name what type of specimen.
