I currently teach reading comprehension, written expression, vocabulary, and memory skills through implementation of the SIM Learning Strategies, which are research validated through the University of Kansas, Center for Research on Learning. I also lead professional development strategy training sessions for the other teachers in my department, along with leading department and team meetings.

I designed and produced a musical adaptation of "The Wizard of Oz" that my students performed for parents, teachers, and School System Staff.
