10/2010 to Current Task Force Officer Indiana University Of Pennsylvania | Punxsutawney, PA,

Conducted complex federal narcotic investigations targeting large scale drug trafficking organizations operating in the Eastern District of California. Utilized investigative tools that included, but not limited to, Global Positioning Systems, cell phone analysis, PEN registers and wiretaps as well as criminal informants, controlled purchases of narcotics and long term surveillance. Worked in close partnerships with multiple jurisdictions to facilitate the execution of large scale arrest and search warrant operations within the State of California. Additional responsibilities included the collection, documentation and presentation of evidence to the prosecuting United States Attorneys Office and provided subsequent expert testimony regarding narcotics and narcotics trafficking organizations.

2004 to 10/2010 Detective - Special Investigations Division Sacramento Police Department | City, STATE, Developed and maintained an investigative caseload targeting street and mid level narcotics dealers in and around the City of Sacramento, CA. Worked in an undercover capacity to purchase narcotics from identified narcotics traffickers, utilized criminal informants, conducted surveillance and authored search warrants that led to the arrest and successful prosecution of suspects. Worked closely with the Sacramento County District Attorneys office - Major Narcotics Prosecution Unit, having been recognized and testified as a narcotics expert in state criminal proceedings. Additional responsibilities included working in an undercover capacity for the FBI -Safe Streets Task Force targeting Pimping and underage victims of prostitution in the Sacramento area.
2001 to 11/2003 Problem Oriented Policing Team (POP) Sacramento Police Department | City, STATE, Focused primarily on working in partnership with neighborhood organizations, business and citizens to address specific problems within a community, such as narcotic and gang related crimes. Worked to identify and eliminate environmental factors that facilitate criminal behavior. Conducted directed patrols targeting gang members engaged in criminal activity, ongoing crime series such as robberies and burglaries, authored search warrants and enforced city abatement codes.
