I have been a commissioned Police Officer for ten years with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. I have served as a patrol officer, and I am currently a Detective within the Police Departments Intelligence Division, Crime Gun Intelligence Unit (CGIC). I'm currently a Task Force Officer with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. As a Police Detective and Task Force Officer, one of my primary duties are to investigate and arrest the City of St. Louis's most violent armed offenders. For the past three years, I have utilized the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) to further my investigations and to lead my investigations towards the most violent offenders/active shooters.

I have been awarded the Medal of Valor, the highest award a police officer may receive twice in my career. I have been awarded the Officer of the Year award twice and have been awarded Officer of the Month nine times.
