Makes appropriate assignments to subordinate team members, checks and approves work assigned and follows up to ensure timely task completion. Returns all team voicemails and emails to answer concerns; accessing CMS, KAECSES, KICS, and the computer mainframe as needed, and sets any necessary tasks. Hires, trains, and supervises Caseworker. Reviews new referrals, legal requests and incoming requests from various sources for new employment, interprets requests and assigns appropriate tasks. As necessary, prepares Income Withholding Orders and Notices of Intent and other legal documents as necessary. Prepares packets for recently prepared Income Withholding Orders. Reviews cases for closure after orders have terminated. Modifies the income withholding orders as necessary or assign task to Office Specialist. Reviews all automated income withholding orders received from Topeka for accuracy and updates CMS. Monitors employer receipt of automated income withholding orders and ensures compliance. Ensures that all IWOs generated manually are updated on the KAECSES system. Monitors the KAECSES system to ensure that all information monitored by the Federal government updated on the KAECSES system in a timely manner. Reviews cases referred for annual review for payment status, dormancy, emancipation, medical coverage and other pertinent information. Reviews cases for payment generated from income withholding orders. A primary contact with CSE regarding IWO/Monitoring and related issues. Manage the daily returned mail. Works as a Courtroom assistant, as needed.
Answers incoming phone calls for assigned enforcement team. Addresses questions and concerns by looking up cases in Case Management System (CMS), KAECSES, KICS, and the computer mainframe as required. Documents the call in the Case Management System (CMS) and KICS and sets up any necessary tasks related to the call. Returns all team voicemails and emails to answer concerns; accessing CMS, KAECSES, KICS, and the computer mainframe as needed, and sets any necessary tasks. Sets up new referred cases by accepting the case in KAECSES, setting up in CMS within 48 hours of receipt, and setting task for next enforcement action. Provides customer service to walk-in customers by accessing CMS, KAECSES. KICS and the computer mainframe as needed. Documents the conversation in CMS and sets up any necessary tasks related to the walk-in. Researches KPC and CMS to identify delinquent payments. If payment is delinquent, but a bench warrant or upcoming court date exists, set the employer term notice up for monitoring and follow-up. Sends Demand Letters to Absentee Parents (APs) when found to be delinquent without an upcoming court date or outstanding bench warrant. Reviews returned mail, locates new address, updates case information, and reissues or sets case for locate. Provides phone, voicemail, walk-in and email back-up for all other team intake agents as needed. Performs additional clerical tasks for assigned enforcement team as time permits.
