I learned to turn the immobile patient and assist with bathing, feeding, ambulation and even shaving for those who are unable to do for themselves due to illness, immobility, cognitive state, or age. i learned that I need to spends the most time with a patient and plays a vital role in recognizing changes in a person's medical status and is often most familiar with a patient's personal wants and requirements. I learn how to chart these observations and note a patient's status, vitals and your duties performed as you performed them in order to communicate directly with other members of the health care team. i learn that to report any changes to the nurse in charge.
