As a Senior Branch Manager, my responsibilities include overseeing our Sacramento location and the training of newly hired employees across all branch positions.
The Branch Manager provides leadership to the branch operations, sales and warehouse personnel. In addition, the Branch Manager develops and implement strategies to grow market share within the Branch's territory and drive operational and service excellence.
As an Area Manager I was responsible for the daily operations of two Northern California locations, so that the territory of the smaller branch could be developed.
Accomplish human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees in assigned districts; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
Achieve regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.
Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives.
Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

The Branch Operations Manager (OM) is a senior member of the Branch Management Team that oversees the day-to-day operations, administration and facilities of the assigned Emser Branch. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Branch OM also has a dotted line responsibility to the Corporate Operations Support department.
The Branch OM accomplishes tasks, goals and objectives through professionally managing supervisory and non-supervisory employees and personal participation as required. Branch OMs follow the directives of the Branch Manager to achieve business objectives, but also are empowered to act as a check-and-balance within the Branch Management Team to ensure all areas under their responsibility are in full compliance with Company policies and procedures. The Branch OM is empowered to involve corporate support, when required, to ensure full compliance is achieved and sustained.
Originally hired as the Scheduling Manager and promoted to additional responsibilities as the Northern California Tile Division Manager. I managed over 80 employees, which included hiring, termination, supervision, providing recommendations to management regarding performance evaluations to determine raises, promotions and accurately processing payroll
