Business Development: 

  • Successfully grew the Amazon.com Pantry business by launching a robotics based FC in East Bay California. This was the 3rd business launch of its type. This launch was considered the most successful of its kind and is currently rated as the benchmark site for the Amazon Pantry network. Since the launch date, the volume output has increase 2X the original expectation.
  • Participated on the original team that launched KIVA robotics in the non-sort style of sites for Amazon. My Team reached the 34% improvement goal ahead of schedule and before any other builds. This part of the business expanded the abilities of NAFC around Peak seasons to achieve the expected volume while still meeting productivity and quality expectations.

Project Management: 

  • Too the opportunity to launch a process improvement initiative with a building focus on pack improvement. The overall outcome produced 37% improved direct line rates. While the project originally was building focused, the results prompted a change to the network and became a non-sort network initiate.
  • Owned Concession for the San Antonio site. Drove down yearly DPMO by 3000pts.

Staff Development: 

  • Launched a structured program on professional development focused on operations for all staff at SAT1/OAK7 Amazon.com.
  • Mentored and coached Leaders resulting in a 12% increase in productivity.
  • Personal developed 12 leaders to promotion opportunities while on the Amazon team.
  • Owned PDCA/Kaizen training for OB managers. Through this training I have overseen two significant improvements for the OB pack process in Single Pack and HV. These projects have validated improvements of 34% and 23%. Both improvements have also been recognized in the KIVA network and have been duplicated by several sites.
