Who I Am

I started working from a very young age in construction. My dad is a custom home builder, and since I was 6 he brought to his work sites summers and weekends to help build his projects. I started with picking up trash after the tradesmen and soon moved onto framing, foundation work, demo, septic installation, and working with clients to achieve their dream home in the budget they agreed upon.

Fast Forward to 15 years of age and i got my first food service job. Working in the food service industry taught me a lot, but my main takeaways are: being able to work and help motivate others toward a common goal, ensure customers get the best experience our company had to offer, and most of all; meaningful relationships with the people around me. I pride myself on my positive attitude and persistence with challenges that seem impossible. I became General Manager at a young age and to this day I manage people twice my age. I earn the respect of my peers and co-workers through my work ethic, welcoming personality and understanding that lifting each other up and working as a team will accomplish our goals in the most rewarding way.

I've realized food service has become stale and repetitive for me. My dad is soon reaching retirement and with owning a personal business he doesn't have much saved up. He has turned to real estate investing and joined the local REIA, and so have I. Right now he owns 2 warehouses down in Houston and a couple properties in the Austin area. I've been to his shareholder meetings, reviewed his warehouse's books, learned how a commerical warehouse operates and becomes profitable, learn how this asset benefit him in multiple ways. With our local REIA I've learned the ins and outs of how to invest in residential real estate, different strategies of investing, and the multiple subjects needed to be a successful real estate investor like: Title work, understanding mortgages, bank processes and regulations, running comps, rehab on houses, marketing, and working with people who want to sell their homes.

I'm looking for a new challenge and I see that in Pulte. I've had construction in my background for a long time, and now currently pursuing the world of real estate, home building, and finance. I am a go-getter and have the creative, problem-solving mind. I'm confident I can help builders on the ground solve problems quickly, support the mortgage department on the other end, and give our buyers a memorable experience and confidence in Pulte.

  • Reviewing invoices from vendors ensuring correct billing. Reviewing food costs each day and modifying orders to minimize waste. Handling daily cash audits, deposits, and cashier balancing.
