Myself and 5 other advanced woodworking and Building trades students at McKinleyville high School were chosen by our Building trades teacher Tim Curry to be part of the Building trades and construction program offered by the Humboldt county office of education. We were chosen to go out into the community and do construction jobs as well as build tiny homes from blueprints we were given by local contractors... we built them from the ground up, and finished a few unfortunately my senior year in high school was cut short due to COVID-19 lockdown and we were unable to finish our last tiny home which to this day is still sitting next to one of our completed ones next to the Building trades building at McKinleyville high School..
