As the Safety Trainer Manager for the station I was in charge of all aspect of training of new and recurrent employees. I train more than 400 employee employees that work in different fields (Cargo and Passenger Service) of the airport operation. Our cargo customers include Evergreen Airline, Ups, Air France and Kalitta Air. Our passengers customers included Avianca, Aeroflot Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Iceland Air, America West, Taca Airlines, Lan Chile, ANA and British Airways. For each one of these airlines I had to undergo a train the trainer class in which lasted anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks. These classes contain of learning organizational effectiveness classes and program, to coach all levels of employees so that they can become more effective in their job function. I conduct a safety audit on the operation to ensure that we are maintain the highest standard that our customers expect from us. I also ensure that all employees are in compliance with the company and client policy and procedures. I made sure that all training records were kept update and ready upon request to be audit by TSA, OSHA or FAA. I also assist H.R. to perform clerical work as needed.
As a Duty Manager I was responsible for more then 15 flight per day. I direct service personnel in all aspect of ground handler functions to maintain 100% on time performance. I schedules work assignments, budget and control hours. I train, mentor and council personnel. Also operate all airport equipment.
As a Cleaning Manager I over see all aspect of the cleaning operation, in which I manage 22 flights per day for the British Airway and there business partner in JFK. Controlling the cleaning supply, equipment, personnel, inventory. Met with customer daily to obtain feed back on service and to troubleshoot potential problem if any.
