While serving as the Service Manager/Site Safety Coordinator at PC 0380 I working alongside my Profit Center Manger were able to implement a heavily engaged safety program that allows us as a team to effectively communicate and analyze safety concerns with customers and employees to provide safe and timely solutions to associated risks within the rental industry resulting in PC 0380 having zero recordable incidents in FY19.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducting weekly safety training for current employees
Perform building safety Inspections at the Profit Center
Perform monthly truck and trailer inspections to identify potential issues in regards to DOT safety violations.
Manages the repair and maintenance of company owned and customer equipment to include the organization of yard (Ready to Rent, Returned, Down)
Prepares work schedules and handles service calls to meet customer needs and assure that equipment is available as required.
Orders parts in order to maintain adequate supplies.
Provides training and assistance to staff mechanics.
Works with equipment vendors to learn the maintenance requirements and capabilities of new equipment added to inventory.
Evaluates all equipment after repairs, maintenance or safety checks.
Documents equipment status before and after rental.
Handles customer complaints regarding equipment condition or operation.

File warranty claims in a timely fashion

During my tenure while serving as the Safety Program Manager and Career Counselor for a Navy Special Operations Command in San Diego CA we developed an unparalleled career, safety and risk management program that resulted in our command receiving multiple safety and retention excellence awards. For my efforts and involvement I was a awarded a Navy Commendation Medal for my loyal and dedicated service to the U.S. Navy Special Operations Command.
Coordinating the implementation of the Navy Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) Program, Traffic Safety Program, and Recreational and Off-Duty Safety (RODS) Program. Performs administrative and record keeping functions in support of the command safety organization. Identifies hazards, unsafe work practices, and health hazardous conditions. Assists in the evaluation of workplace hazards, including periodic workplace monitoring. Prepares various safety and mishap reports, maintains hazard abatement program documentation, and aids in mishap investigations. Arranges or conducts indoctrination and periodic SOH training. Disseminates SOH program information throughout the chain of command; assist commands in organizing and implementing aggressive safety, enlisted retention, and career information programs; evaluate enlisted career and safety development programs within their own command and/or subordinate commands, as applicable; coordinate and supervise counseling and safety efforts; counsel individuals and their family members (as applicable) on the advantages of safe practices and other career opportunities within the Navy, and give command level presentations on career programs.and safety objectives.
Aircrew Safety Survival Equipmentmen safely inspect, maintain and repair parachutes, seat pans, survival equipment, and flight and protective clothing and equipment; pack and rig parachutes; pack and equip liferafts; troubleshoot oxygen systems, repair and test oxygen regulators and liquid oxygen converters removed from aircraft; fit and maintain oxygen masks, flight clothing, anti-exposure suits and anti-G suits; operate and maintain carbon dioxide transfer and recharge equipment; operate and repair sewing machines; conduct special calendar/periodic inspections of survival equipment; supervise operation of parachute lofts and survival equipment work centers.
As the Expert in the Parachute loft I was the Quality assurance representative that ensured all safety requirements were met prior to any gear leaving our shop. This requires direct approval by the Commanding Officer of our command and it is a very difficult qualification to obtain.
